CHAN Kim Ching from Liber Research Community, Hong Kong

Liber Research Community is a research network and publishing house founded in 2009, consisting of group researchers who are enthusiastic about Hong Kong’s development and social issues. In 2013 the collective officially registered as a non-profit organization.

They combine the forces of civil progress to form an interdiscipline including political science, geography, sociology, philosophy, linguistics, cultural studies, media, planning and other disciplines. And through research, surveys and reports, they promote Hong Kong issues such as reconstruction, planning, development, political system, rural areas, conservation, integration, and economy.

Research published in the past includes: land supply research, umber, short-term tenancy, housing research, small house policy, agricultural research, food safety, China-Hong Kong relations research, etc.
