Alternative art spaces are to outlining the ideas and concepts sided by the mainstream. These ideas are processed, discussed & expressed as manifestations to the voice & spirit brought to the democracy space. Engagement, collective imagination & ideas of togetherness become images for the alternative art spaces.
The following is a discussion that will be raised & parsed on alternative space ideas:
- A sharing session from representatives of alternative space and surrounding collectivity (art, culture & activism) around & outside the klang valley regarding multidisciplinary space functions in generating various current issues.
- Review how the space and role of the youth movement in carrying out activities and the impact on public participation.
- Share views and planning future activities in strengthening the function and role of space in the target group and the general public in particular.
- Share how art and culture play a role in mobilizing activities in alternative spaces and the extent to which ideas of activism and responding to current issues are maintained in impacting or problematic.
