A Community Project of Collecting Local Oral History
One of the two ongoing projects of Lostgens’ which started ten years ago is Oral History Field Research Project. We have been continuously conducting interviews in various communities collecting the oral history of the new villages, World War II and the May 13th incident for example. At the same time, Lostgens’ also collects a wide variety of historical documents, old photos, and cultural relics from local community in hoping to construct a historical discourse from the locals’ perspective.
