My drawing installation indicates my journey in this exploration of the basic elements of drawing.
I, as the driver of the car, and the ‘live’ element in this automated performance, contribute to the result of the drawings. As the pencil records the breaks and stops that take place along the way, it also documents my daily route as a kind of script emerges on paper.
These all contribute to the factor of randomness as well as ’madness’, at the same time retaining a quality of mechanical control – that is the car as the machine doing the actual drawing.
Bio
Eddie Choo complete her diploma study at Dasein Academy of Art. Now she working as a freelance artist , at the same time she also involve with Pudu and Petaling street community art project organize by Lostgen’s. She was the best 5 winner Fashion Activist Art Spool organize MAP publika 2011.
