Artistic Strategies to Shape the City Body

by Regina Pemsl

Regina Pemsl develops artistic strategies that stimulate the perception of the human body to the city. Through practical work, she invites the audience to engage and interact with each other as well as to shape their own living environment.

Various visual installations in collaboration with Lostgens Contemporary Arts Space will be presented as a result of her three-month Artist-Residency Project in Kuala Lumpur with the invitation of the Goethe-Institut Malaysia. These installations include:

My Little Kingdom – a walk followed by a Batik session.
Jalan Panggung Hanging Gardens – a visual stimulus to create more green in the city.
Vanish– a film portrait
Cukup – Chinese character – Enough – an installation made together with workshop-participants.
