Zines from Hong Kong’s Civil Movements

Since the “campaign against the revision of the Fugitive Offenders Ordinance” broke out in June, Hong Kong’s non-mainstream media have played a major role in the development and spread of the movement. In Malaysia, the mainstream media is regulated by the national media laws, clearly tends to be conservative. Is it possible for independent media to develop the ability to compete? And providing different perspectives on this social movement?
