Body expression born in Tokyo, Japan, in 1959 with Tatsumi Hijikata. Inspirated by popular traditional dance and transformed by modern mind of the 60s, butoh is the authentic expression of the flesh itself. Butoh dancers are mooved by energy of beings and ancestral memory of life. Body are danced by nature, emotions and spirits in a deep wave of love and mindfullness.
