Workshop Conductor

Bhumin Dhanaketpisarn graduated from the Faculty of Engineering of King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology, he is now working as a senior volunteer at Makhampom Foundation and gathered his experiences in arts since 1980s by learning Thai classical music, traditional dance and Thai folk opera Likay.

Makhampom Theater Group has been founded in 1980 by group of democracy activists, we use the theater as a tool for grassroots action, be a social community of generations of volunteers. Do the touring theater for awareness and dialogue in Thailand and overseas. We develop youth theater groups throughout Thailand, creating a theater style blending the traditional and contemporary, practicing the popular art forms of our volunteer and audiences such as Likay, physical theater, puppetry, circus, intercultural theater. Promoting theater in schools and universities, apply theater for peace-building and conflict resolution. Asian and Western networks, exchanges and collaborations.
