Moving Great Wall
Jalan Sultan Action Art
In conjunction with “Wilayah Day: Jalan Sultan Action Art” on 1 February 2013, Preserve Jalan Sultan Committee and a group of artists will make a performance art “Moving Great Wall “, an art work measuring 500 feet in length, which will be moved to the MRT project site where old UDA Ocean, Plaza Warisan and Old Klang Bus Station were once located.
We will surround the site with the ‘great wall’ as the symbolic act of defending Jalan Sultan from the controversial land acquisition and our protest against the lack of transparency in the mega project.
