Sense & Sensibility

A Group Exhibition

The 17 artists in this exhibition are all exploring their hearts, their senses, using their sensibilities to express what is happening in their Universe.

[Sense = to make sense, to understand, to feel]
[Sensibility = emotions which arise by experiencing the world through our senses]

“Sense & Sensibility” is an expansion of the artist group “Opposite Abstracts” who seeks to expand the reach of abstract expressions in Malaysia as well as joining abstract artists in a community.

Artists of varied backgrounds with experience levels spanning from ‘fresh young’ artist to experienced international artists, from self-taught to academic art education collaborate together to form this exhibition.

In life, there are subjects which may be hard to express in words. Subjects such as dreams, passion, culture, heritage, fears, anger and various other callings from the heart are just some finding ways of expression through various abstract media.

The beauty of ‘Sense & Sensibility’ lies in the artists’ ability to think and feel while each try to make sense of their experience and the world in their own way.

Let the art speak its own colourful language to reveal the sensibilities of different senses by these 17 diverse artists presented in this exhibition.
