Stone Rubbing Project
Stone Rubbing is an alternative traditional carving art technique that Lostgens’ is committed to preserve as a part of folk history.
The scope of work includes temple inscriptions, guild monuments, school cornerstones, tombstones and so on. Currently many valuable stone inscriptions are facing deterioration due to natural weathering and man-made destruction. Therefore, there is an urgent need for preservation as these stone inscriptions contain invaluable record and memory of the local culture and history in the forms of engraved calligraphy and pictorial inscriptions.
